The Wave Theory

July 6, 2016

Colton, Shayden and Nick. Three best friends. Brothers. From church, fishing and dirt biking to not always legal things they were inseparable. There motto seemed to me to literally be "don't worry about a thing." And to Them when Lexie and I came into the they'er lives they felt betrayed by each other. Girls coming into the picture was new for all of them. None of them asked for Lexie or I to invade there brotherhood. By all means none of us have ever been perfect. We would constantly test each others limits...  Sometimes to the braking point but I am pretty sure we are not the only group friends that have our ups and downs thought.

There was a time before Shayden and I started dating that Shayden told me about his wave theory. His theory suggested that relationships were like the ocean's waves. "Waves always have a high point but eventually they will come crashing down." I didn't think much about it at the time but thinking back to that moment; Shayden's wave theory was right in a way. We are all human.  People are going to test us, our hearts are going brake, and at times we will fell as if we can't take another steep.  But every crashing wave rises again and so can we.  I honestly believe that if you refuse to give up you will make it.  Let who you are shin through. Stand a little taller.  Laugh a little louder. Smile a little brighter. You have nothing to be ashamed of.  You are perfect in Your own way. No pain You suffer, no trial you experience in this life is wasted.  We learn and develop from experience.  Learn to trust in the Lords timing. God knows better then anyone what You are going through.  The good and the bad. I strongly believe that God is there for us.  But I also believe that sometimes He will let You go through things on your own so that You can learn and grow for yourself.  This is Gods plan for us to return home.  He wants nothing more then for us to achieve.  And at the end of the day after we have done all we can do, we must rely on the grace of Christ to make up the difference.

Our little group of friends has increased and decreased over time and somehow through life's struggles we have all become a little stronger then before. Throughout time; as we find ourselves we might split ways, but I can honestly say I wouldn't trad once knowing them for the world.  I am forever grateful for the lessons they have helped me learn.
